Jolene Grover Pelston, 64, passed away March 16, 2013 at Saint Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born August 3, 1948 in Logan, Utah to the late Claine M. Grover and Lila Helen Jensen Grover.
Jolene enlisted into the United States Marine Corps March of 1967 as a Private First Class. She proudly served for three years in Paris Island, South Carolina and was honorably discharged with a rank of Corporal, March of 1970. She retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Service at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana and was an employee of Arbonne International, LLC in Greenwood, Indiana.
She is survived by daughters, Julie Lacy of Georgetown, Kentucky, Jennifer Pelston of Sheldon, Vermont, and son Nathan G. Pelston of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by two Grandsons, B. Nicholas Lacy and J. Cole Lacy of Georgetown, Kentucky. She is also survived by her sisters Lorilyn Kiren of Diamondville, Wyoming, Paula Keith of Clearfield, Utah, Nikki Allen of Clearfield, Utah, and Dena Goss of Roy, Utah.
Memorial services are 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Southwood Baptist Church in Beech Grove, Indiana. Jolene will be laid to rest in Fielding, Utah with a dedication and prayer at 11:00 am, Monday March 25, 2013. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan G. Pelston, B. David Lacy, B. Nicholas Lacy, J. Cole Lacy, Brian E. Bushey, and Chance J. Bushey.
