Jose Antonio "Tony" Hernandez

Jose Antonio “Tony” Hernandez, age 39, of Fielding, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1986, in Pénjamo, Mexico, to Jose and Margarita Hernandez. 

Antonio met the love of his life Nicole in 2008 and married her on May 23, 2014. He pursued his education at Malad High School and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from Stevens-Henager College. 

For over a decade, Antonio dedicated his career as a strand tender at Nucor in the melt shop, starting in 2011 and continuing until his passing. 

Antonio was a hard worker and made sure his family was well taken care of. He never wanted his kids to go without but still taught them to be grateful for what they had. 

Tony taught all his kids how to fish, including his wife. Fishing was a big part of their family time, he loved to go shooting, playing video games with his children, anything out doors was where he loved to be. He taught his little buddy about cars and anything manly, they were inseparable, and as for his two baby girls he taught them how they can be independent. Above all, he treasured spending quality time with his family, bringing joy and laughter to their lives. 

Antonio is survived by his wife Nicole and their three children, Eliana, Annalia, and Adan. He is also remembered by his loving parents, Jose and Margarita Hernandez, along with his siblings, Heriberto (Chelsea) Hernandez and Margarita (Hector) Hernandez, nieces Ariella, Sophia, Aileen, Noemi and nephew Daunte. 

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law Rafa Sanchez, brother-in-law Jesse Sanchez, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Funeral services in honor of Antonio will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Noon, with viewings on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. and prior to the service on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 A.M. All services will take place at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E, Tremonton). Interment will follow at the Fielding Cemetery. 

Antonio's spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
