Joseph Merton Napples died on June 16, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 23, 1957 to Donald H. Napples and Thelma N. Cox in Troy, New York.
After graduating from Clearfield High School he served in the army for 2 years.
Throughout his life he lived in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado.
His passion was cooking and took great pride in serving family and friends. He was a Culinary Chef, but also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.
Joseph was the Green Bay Packers #1 Fan.
He is survived by his parents; daughter Dawn Lynn (Stacy) Napples Blanchard; granddaughter Destinee Ann; siblings Donna (Roger) Gray, Bud (Nancy) Napples, Chuck Napples, Kristine Lindsay, Matthew Cox; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Joseph was preceded in death by his sisters Brenda J. Napples and Melanie A. Brewer; brothers Robert (Bob) Cox and Thomas J. Napples; a loving stepfather LeRoy Cox; and a caring stepmother Louise Napples.
The family would like to thank Inspire Hospice nurse Carol and Dr. Scoville, Pioneer Care Center in Brigham City, special friends Doug and Barbara Kearl, Rick Jensen, and the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City.
A viewing will be held at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 11-12:30 p.m. with a short service to follow. Interment in the Fielding Cemetery.
