Joshua was born in Ogden to Jonathan and Chasi Reynolds. He lived in Roy, Layton, North Ogden, and Garland Utah. Josh was a fighter from birth and courageously battled every health and medical obstacle he faced. All he wanted was to be included and do what his cousins and friends were doing. His parents worked tirelessly to protect and provide Josh with every opportunity. We are inspired by their examples of patience and love!
When introduced to Josh, if you weren’t his 10th cousin, you were instantly his best friend. Which meant he could call or text you any time of day or night. Josh was loyal, loving, and genuinely interested in your life. When checking in, he would always ask if he could help or if you needed him to take care of something or someone – and he meant it. Josh loved unconditionally, if you supported his favorite president.
Joshua loved to shoot three-pointers, golf, and play games with his brothers. He participated in scouting, competed in the Special Olympics, graduated from Bear River High School, and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Josh loved movies and would quote from his favorites at the drop of a hat. He was quick witted, loved to laugh, and very patriotic. We will miss his one-liners, hugs, and slaps to the back.
Joshua is preceded in death by his Grandpa Gary Bingham, Grandma Sylvia Jean Reynolds & Grandpa William Rudolph Reynolds Jr., Great Grandma Shirley Reynolds, Great Grandpa William Rudolph Reynolds Sr., Zeniff Hathaway Jr. (cousin), and Judd Miller (friend). Survived by his parents Jonathan & Chasi Reynolds, brothers Matthew Beau & William Rudy Reynolds, Tabby Dyer (fiancé), many other relatives, and Ryker the family K9. Maria Bingham, grandma; Dan & Janeal Shaffer and Robert & Annette Johnson, honorary grandparents.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Primary Children’s Hospital who cared for Josh throughout his life. They express gratitude to Inhabit Hospice and Julie Burchell.
