Joy Petersen

Tremonton- Joy Petersen passed away peacefully on April 30, 2011 at the Bear River Valley Hospital. Joy was born to Lou Reed Poppleton and Elsie Gladys Clark Poppleton on February 14, 1954 in Logan Utah. Joy graduated from Box Elder High School. She worked in transportation at Thiokol and also worked for Whitaker Construction where she retired. Joy enjoyed spending time camping in the outdoors and spending time with her buddies at JC’s Diner having coffee. Joy is survived by her daughter Jo’D Petersen also her sister and brothers: Trina Stringer, Blake Poppleton, Clark Poppleton, and Reed Poppleton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her uncle Thomas Poppleton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 12 pm at the Tremonton Stake Center 660 N. 300 E. Tremonton. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10-11:45 am at the Stake Center previous to the funeral. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
