Her father died 4 months before she was born and her mother died 3 days after she was born. Her cousin and his wife, Alva Rhodes and Ida Barnard, raised her with their son Keith and Ida’s nephew and niece, Roy and Dorthy Barnard. They lived in East Garland, UT., where she spent a wonderful childhood and learned the value of hard work. She attended USU for one year. She married Homer E. Richard (Mauretta (Beeper)), Tremonton; M. Janiel (Louis) Jensen, Brigham City; Pamla M (Colyn) Knudsen, Deweyville. June shared the farm chores, raised the kids, made exceptional rolls and pies, and was a member of the Friendly Circle Club. She also worked as a unit manager for the school lunch program and retired after 30 years. Her homemade rolls still are outstanding memories for former students and teachers. She was an active member of the Deweyville LDS Ward. June loved cooking, planting flowers, dancing, fishing, and keeping track of her grandchildren and their families. Surviving her are 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, 2 granddaughters, 1 son-in-law, 1 granddaughter-in-law.
