Kami (Wood) Morriss

Kami Wood Morriss, age 37, of Tremonton, Utah, passed away on April 15, 2024. She entered this world on June 24, 1986, in Brigham, Utah, to her loving parents Sara Wood and Guy Milo Gee.

In November of 2008 Kami married Kelly Benson. They later divorced. On March 14, 2015, Kami married Brian Morriss. Throughout her life, she resided in Tremonton and Garland, Utah. In 2004, she completed her high school education and later went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Stevens Henager College.
 
Kami's hands were always busy creating beauty through sewing. Her talent brought forth numerous quilts that now serve as cherished keepsakes for family and friends. Additionally, she delighted in crafting dresses for her beloved daughters.

Kami was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother Sara Kay Wood; husband Brian Morriss; siblings Karl (Valerie) Wood, Nancy Gee, Sara (Mark) Fuller; and her precious daughters Karrin LuDean Benson (14), Kaydi Sue Benson (12), Kaydrin Nancy Morriss (8), Karlene D Morriss (7), Kristiann Faye Morriss (5), and Kailyn Belita Morriss (3).
 
Kami now rests peacefully in the embrace of those who have gone before her: grandpa Doyle V Wood; grandma LuDean Sharp Wood; daughter Karla Fran Morriss; and sister Samantha Ann Gee; and Kelly Warren Benson. Their spirits reunite in a place where love knows no bounds.
 
A memorial service to honor Kami's life will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024,at 6 P.M. with a visitation prior from 4:30-5:45 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home, Tremonton (111 N 100 E-Tremonton). Your presence would be a comfort to those who hold Kami dear. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
 
In recognition of the unwavering love and support shown by the local Mennonite Community to Kami and her family in recent years, a special gratitude is extended towards them.
