Karen Ross, 69, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2015 at the Bear River Care Center in Tremonton, UT. She was born on August 8, 1945 in Brigham City, UT to Lee & Melba Hansen. She married her sweetheart William “Bill” Ross on August 4, 1965 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 12, 1994.
Karen attended and graduated from Bear River High School in 1963. She lived in many places throughout her life including Colorado Croydon, UT, Morgan, UT and Plymouth, UT. During her life she worked as a homemaker and also as a Health Caregiver. Her love and passion in life were horses, dogs and cats.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Karen is survived by her husband William “Bill” Ross; Brother, A.L. (Elona) Hansen; Brother-in-law, Richard Winberg and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Myrna Winberg and three nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Deweyville Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Donny & Barbara Vanderhoof and Bill & Rebecca Bronson for the loving care & support that they have shown to Karen throughout the years.
