Karen Lynn Wilson

Karen Lynn Wilson, 62, of Tremonton, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loved ones on June 29, 2023.

Karen was born in San Francisco, CA, on February 23, 1961, to Walter and Panela Totten. She was the loving wife to Stuart Wilson for nearly 42 years, a devoted mother to sons Marc and Spencer Wilson as well to her daughters Bonnie Boyer and Kami Welch, of Tremonton, Utah. She was a cherished grandmother to Bentley, Beckham, Beau, Liam, Taryn, Panela, and Aspen.

The principle and greatest role in her lifetime was that of a mother, Karen would say. She loved being a mother and ultimately loved being a grandmother in so much that she would never hesitate to let anyone know how proud she was of her children. Likewise, she was a proud local business owner within the community of Tremonton, Utah, working together alongside her husband Stuart Wilson, Karen worked diligently to establish a respectable name for their business concentrating in commercial equipment industry for over 30 years. Her dedication to the family business was only surpassed by her love for her family.

Karen was an avid decorator who loved nothing more than spending her spare time creating a loving and beautiful home for her family and loved ones. Her passion for decoration and design culminated when Karen finally opened her own boutique of her very own. Karen also loved music, classic films, and could often be found in her yard planting as many flowers as possible. She was known for her loving nature, judgement free acceptance, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Karen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she taught in the Young Women’s and Relief Society. Karen also volunteered in many community outreach programs, local hospitals, veteran and military family programs and nursing homes. Her love for people was a keystone during her life, providing her children and to others an example of the strength through service and guiding her actions throughout her life.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother Panela Totten, eldest son Marc Wilson and late ex-husband Stuart Wilson. She is survived by her three children: Bonnie Boyer, Kami Welch, and Spencer Wilson.

A viewing and memorial will be held at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. The family requests that visitors please share a memory in Karen’s guest book.

Her love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and commitment to family and the community.
