Kathleen Ann Hurley Wilson passed away from her six month battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Kathleen was born on October 3, 1957, to Dr. John B. Hurley and Dorothy Brennan Hurley in Tremonton, Utah. She married Stewart K. Wilson at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Park City, Utah on August 22, 1981. They first made their home in Big Cottonwood Canyon near the Solitude Ski Resort where they met. Later they moved back to Tremonton, where Kathleen owned and operated her own business, Travel Depot. Her passion for travel and public service was well shown in all of the family vacations and business trips she planned for her clients, friends and family. Kathleen and Stewart were blessed later in life with the adoption of their daughter Amber (Wilson) Luedtke. Their family has grown considerably with a son-in-law, Raymond Luedtke, and the light of her life, granddaughter Bella. Kathy was a young and wonderful daughter, wife, mother, and sister. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Dr. John B. Hurley; grandparents, uncles and aunts. She is survived by her husband, Stewart K. Wilson of Tremonton, Her Mother, Dorothy Brennan Hurley of Tremonton, Her daughter Amber (Wilson) and Raymond and Bella Luedtke, Brother, John T. Hurley of Tremonton, Sisters Sharon Hurley of Salt Lake City and Trish Hurley of Tremonton as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 21, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, UT). The family will greet friends and relatives from 3:30 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers her family is asking that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the John H. Huntsman Cancer Center.
