Knud Hansen Fridal

Knud Hansen Fridal IV- Our Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and Friend was released to go plant wheat in a different field on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

 Dad was born July 26, 1941 to K.H. Fridal III and Mary Ann (Mae) B. Fridal in Logan, Utah.

Dad graduated from Bear River High School, then went on to attend Utah State University.

Dad married Connie Alice Roche on November 1, 1960 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Together they have five children: Penny (Jeff) Peterson, Teresa (Blake) Sandall, Susan (Kent) McClellan, Leslie Fridal, and Henry (Tyson Rogers) Fridal.

Dad’s lifelong passion was farming and raising his family. Dad enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing in Island Park. In his later years he enjoyed his daily ride to Bothwell to read his newspaper and check on the farm.

Dad and Mom never missed a sporting event of the grandkids or great grandkids. They were their biggest fans.

Dad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His favorite calling was a Home Teacher.

He was welcomed home by his parents, his brother Sid, his grandson, Tyson and many extended family and friends.

His greatest joys were his grandkids and great grandkids:

Skyler & Carson Frandsen;

Tilly & Yo-Yo Fridal;

Tawnie Lewis, & Tyson Busenbark;

Lincoln, Ellie, Thatcher, & Seager Peterson;

Easton & Maesa Frandsen;

Jack, Lana, & Lexi Peterson;

Jax & Rigbee Lewis.

Dad will be remembered by his many friends in the valley including Ersal (Wallace) Frembrock.

Funeral services for Knud will be held at Noon on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10-11:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.- Tremonton). Interment will follow the funeral service in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
