LaRena Schwab

March 3, 1930 — August 2, 2015

LaRena Ann Schwab, 85, passed away on August 2, 2015 at the Willow Glen Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brigham City, Utah. She was born to Wilford John Robinson & Alvaretta Corbridge on March 3, 1930 in Minersville, Utah. LaRena married the love of her life Richard Eugene Schwab on March 29, 1949. He passed away on September 7, 2001.

During her life she lived in Mountain View, Wyoming, Park City, Utah and Tremonton, Utah. She attended LDS Business College for a time. LaRena and Richard were owners of a building construction company for many years and built many homes in the Bridger Valley Wyoming area and were apartment managers in Park City later in life.

LaRena contracted Osteomyelitis at age 13. She spent years  in the hospital but was able to graduate from high school with her class in 1948. The discovery of penicillin saved her leg.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of the Happy Hour Homemakers club.

LaRena is survived by her children: Kristine Saunders, Ann Charles, Carolyn Charles, Connie Getz and Randy Mair; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services for LaRena will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain View LDS Chapel (116 W 4th St Mountain View, WY). There will be a viewing held prior to the service at the same location from 10-10:30 a.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at Our House Assisted Living in Tremonton and Willow Glen Health & Rehabilitation for their assistance and care in her last days.
