Larry Allen

PORTAGE- Larry Gibbs Allen, 75, passed away at home on August 3, 2014. He was born November 25, 1938 in Malad, Idaho to Lois Bennett and Isaac Gibbs Allen.

He married Elna J. Call on June 2nd 1961 and together they had two children, Troy & Lori. Elna passed away in October of 2010.

Throughout his life, Larry worked at Lazy Boy as a Truck Driver and was a Heavy equipment operator.. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved to drive his 2011 Mustang, snowmobile, hunting, shooting and four-wheeling.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Allen Knight; grandchildren, Dallas Knight, Francis Allen and Elle Allen; his dog, Tes; and a sister, Rochelle Danielson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. – Tremonton) with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Portage Cemetery.
