LaWanna had an enthusiasm for life, as well as her death. She couldn’t wait to see what’s next. As she peacefully slipped away in her sleep on October 9, 2018.
She was born on January 17, 1930 to Olie Hall and Nellie Stoddard. She graduated from Davis High in 1948 and married Leslie Monroe Wright in May of 1949. After Les joined the church they were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple in 1959. Les passed away in 2003.
Les & LaWanna moved around a lot and she always had friends, because of her winning smile and personality. She loved to crochet read good books, write poetry and sing. Most of all, her children and being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brought her the most joy.
LaWanna is survived by her children: Randy (Sheri) Wright, Lynn Wright and twin Lynda (Ken) Muhlestein, and Blaine (Tamie) Wright; siblings: Roger Hall, Wendell Hay Hall, and Lewis Hall; 21 grandchildren; over 49 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie, parents, and sister Shauna Lee Oglesby.
She would like to thank all those who encouraged her talent in writing poetry, as her new book displays her many sides.
