Lenna Christensen

Lenna Sutton Christensen passed away in Tremonton, Utah, Friday, January 3, 2014. Lenna was born February 14, 1929 in Bancroft, Idaho to Len Nephi Sutton, and Minnie Carroll Cornelison.

Lenna married George LaRell Christensen in November of 1947.They were long time residents of Tremonton, and known to many as the owners and operators of the “Saddle Shop” or Bear River Saddlery just off Main Street where the Midland Square is today.

Lenna and George had 5 boys; Darrell (Sandra) Tremonton; Jim, Tremonton; Carey (Cindy), Brigham City; Darwin, Tremonton; and Brian (Patsy), Byron, Georgia.

Son Jim became a caregiver to his Mom and Dad as they grew older. And when his Dad passed away in 1996 he became a companion and caregiver to his Mom.

A family viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 7th from 12:15 to 12:45 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 1st East in Tremonton. Following the viewing there will be a Graveside Service at the Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton.
