Linda Jeppesen John, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Portage, UT on October 28, 2012. Linda was born on May 8, 1942 to Marvin Rassmus and Grace Darling Watt Jeppesen in Brigham City, Utah. Linda graduated from Box Elder High School and Stevens Henagar Business College. She married her Eternal partner Denton C. John on June 5, 1963 in the Logan Temple. Linda lived in Logan, Ogden and Corinne, UT; St. Louis, MO; Malad, ID; Salt Lake City, UT; Pleasonton, CA; and retired in Portage, UT. She worked as a secretary at the Thiokol Chemical Corporation, assistant to V.P. of Wagner Electric Corporation in St. Louis and administrative assistant at Utah State University, where she retired from in 2008. While working at USU she earned the outstanding employee award of 2008. Linda faithfully served as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was also a member of the Southern Almeda County Dental Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Denton C., sons Darin, Todd, Christopher (Carrie) and Robert, Brothers Claude, Leon, and Kent Jeppesen and twelve grandchildren that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents and Brother Ricky Lynn Jeppesen. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2012, at the Fielding Stake Center (4375 W 15600 N Fielding, UT) at 11:00 a.m. Viewings will be held prior to services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center and on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (100 E 111N Tremonton, UT). Interment will be at the Portage, UT cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Shaw, Dr. Schow, Dr. Dunn, The Huntsman Cancer Institute and CNS Hospice.
