Honeyville, UT- Loraine Grace Draper Davis, 74, our loving mother, grandma, sister and friend passed away peacefully Tuesday June 18, 2013 at home with her family. Grace was born September 29, 1938 to Rosie Bettino Draper and Verdis Draper. Grace was raised in Wellington, Utah. Mom grew up with and later married her sweetheart Robert Merrill Davis on November 15, 1957. Their Marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. From this union came four wonderful sons and two beautiful daughters.
Mom’s greatest joy was her family and good times spent together. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and trips to Yellowstone. Mom was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and one of the most excellent cooks. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Honeyville first ward.
She is survived by her children: Kurt (Sandra), Kyle (Kathy), Scott, Boyd (Terri), Kaelyn (Shane) Robbins, and Laci J. 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers Paul and Jay of Wellington. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and in-laws, Owen and Mable Davis.
A funeral Service will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Honeyville LDS Ward chapel (2620 W 6980 N, Honeyville). Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday June 23, 2013 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E, Tremonton) and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church previous to the funeral. Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
