Lorna Crozier

Lorna Nelson Crozier passed away August 17, 2012, at her home in Thatcher, Utah. She was born December 19, 1929, Thatcher, to Joseph and Hannah DuFosee Knowles Nelson. She married George “Tuny” Crozier on June 19, 1948. Lorna graduated from Bear River High School. She and her husband and children earned a livelihood working side by side on their farm and steel building business. Tuny and Lorna had the opportunity to serve as a missionary couple in the Nauvoo Mission. Lorna loved the gospel and compassionately served her church and her family. She is survived by her children: Tamera (Douglas) Newman, Kelly, Kit (Merrilee), and Max (Karen) Crozier; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Colleen Pali. She is celebrating a happy reunion with her husband and two sons, Michael George and Ricky Val Crozier; her parents and four siblings, Glen Nelson, Joyce Housley, Bessie Kay, and Elwyn Nelson; and numerous relatives. Viewings will be held Monday, August 20, 6-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah, and before the funeral service, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Thatcher LDS Ward building (11475 West 10400 North); funeral services, Tuesday, August 21, at 11:00 a.m. at the Thatcher Ward Chapel; burial, Valley View Cemetery, Bothwell, The children extend a special thanks to Aunt Colleen, Lydia Martin and Primrose Hospice caregivers.
