Lowell Vern Anderson

August 22, 1924 - August 23, 2013

Lowell "Ike" Vern Anderson, longtime resident of Bear River City passed away on August 23, 2013, one day after his 89th birthday.
Lowell was born August 22, 1924 in Bear River City, to Vernal "Ike" and El Rita (Jensen) Anderson. He served three years in the South Pacific with the Army during WWII.
He married Betty Jean Whittington on July 4, 1951.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his daughter, Kathy (Keith) Forsgren, and his son Pat Anderson. Surviving are his children Mike (Mandy) Anderson of Las Vegas, NV; Vern (LeAnn) Anderson; Lorri Temple of Bear River City; and his sister Sheryl (Lloyd) Thompson of Garland.
Per Lowell's wishes the family will hold a private memorial. He will be interred in the Bear River City Cemetery at a later date.
