Lowell Tracy

May 17, 1944 — November 26, 2008

Bear River City-Lowell "Rufus" Tracy left his earthly home November 26, 2008. He was born May 17, 1944 in Tremonton Utah to Anthon and Verna Tracy. He spent his youth at home in Park Valley, Utah and later moved with his family to Tremonton where he attended Bear River High. During High school he was an avid swimmer and wrestler, and member of the band. He married his one and only love of his life Ilene Marble in June of 1962. They were blessed with three daughters and one son. They were later sealed for time and all eternity as a family in 1974.He was very musically gifted and taught himself to play the saxophone, bass guitar, and harmonica. He raced dirt bikes in his younger years, and loved working on hot rods, and riding his Harley. He also wrote poetry and like making leather crafts with and for his kids and grandkids. He had a magnetic personality, and had a joke or a funny comment or story for every situation. He was very giving and liked to share what he had with others. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was very proud of all of his kids. And his grandkids were the greatest joy in his life. He is survived by his wife Ilene, Daughters Elaine (Alan) Relay Corinne, Leisa (Kenny) Pugsley Park Valley, Rhonda (Jess) Ward Malad, Id and Son Quinn (Lisa) Tracy Corinne, fifteen grand children, five great-grand children, three brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, LaMar and two sisters. He will return home to ParkValley. We'll miss you and your novel sense of humor Dad, but we know you have moved onto your next Harley ride. Stay true to the brand. Cry not for the loss of one of Gods children, cry for the loss of a friend. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Valley Cemetery, Park Valley Ut. A viewing will be held on Sunday November 30, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main Garland Ut.
