Loyd Hess

Plymouth, UT – Loyd W. Hess, 77, passed away at his home Sunday, August 1, 2010. He was born June 5, 1933 in Plymouth, UT to Jess and Maud Wolverton Hess. He attended Plymouth Elementary and Bear River High School. He married Jean Holcomb July 31, 1962. She died June 5, 2010. Loyd worked for U & I Sugar Factory, Box Elder County, Christensen Grain and Parson’s. He is survived by his children: Penny (Paul) Marshall, Joellyn (Bob) Harris, Brian (Ruth) Kidder, Brad (Paula) Hess, Steven Hess; sisters: Norma Steed, Darlene Ipsen, Carma Josten; brother, Mitchell Hess; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Loyd Kim Hess and parents. A graveside services will be held 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Plymouth Cemetery. A visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main St., Garland. The family wishes to thank the Dialysis Staff at Logan Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
