Tremonton- Lucille Scoffield Robbins, 100, passed away on October 5, 2013 at the Bear River Valley Care Center. Lucille was born on November 27, 1912 in Layton, UT to Corilla Flint & George Scoffield. On January 11, 1930 she married Ruel Robbins in Brigham City, UT. Their Marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
During her life she lived in Kaysville and then later in Tremonton. She worked many jobs including Gephart’s, Classic Shop, Tremonton Army Store, Canning Factory and Anderson Lumber.
Lucille loved to Quilt, Counter Cross stitch, Embroider and was also a member of the Centenarian Club (100 yrs. old). She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the church including a Librarian for 14 years, a primary Teacher for 20 years and she indexed for many years.
Lucille is survived by her children Darlene Wise Cannon, Sterling Ruel Robbins, Charlotte Summers and Peggy Ann Richardson (Wayne).
She is preceded in death by her Husband, parents, nine brothers, one sister, one grandson and one great grandson.
Funeral services for Lucille will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Tremonton 1st Ward Chapel (166 N. Tremont St.). There will be a viewing held on Tuesday October 8, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and previous to the funeral from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Both viewings will be held at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.). Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
