Snowville-Our beloved Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Brother-in-law and friend to all, Lynn Jay Anderson, 66, passed away early Sunday morning at his home with his family on March 8, 2015 in Snowville, Utah. He was born on May 21, 1948 in Brigham City, Utah as the 7th son of Ross Arbon Anderson & Helen Regene Henry of Stone, ID. He married his sweetheart Connie Woods on September 1, 1978 in Snowville, Utah. They were later sealed with their oldest son Ricky on December 15, 1995 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were sealed to his younger children Amethyst, Elijah Bleu & Jerry on Aug. 22, 2008.
Lynn was raised in Stone, Idaho. He attended and graduated from Malad High School. He lived in Denver, Colorado where he attended Denver Tech Diesel Mechanics.
He worked on the family farm/dairy. He worked for Thiokol for 33 years and retired in 2011.
He served in the Navy as a Sea Bee. He was stationed in Puerto Rico and Mississippi.
Lynn loved to hunt with his sons, brother-in-law and friends, work with wood, dutch oven cooking, watch John Wayne movies, watch Basketball & Football, work with cows, travel and he especially loved spending time with his family.
Lynn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was currently serving as a Ward Membership Clerk in the Curlew Ward. He was also the Snowville Water Master. He also loved working with the scouts.
He is survived by his wife Connie Anderson; children Rick (Ashley) Anderson, St. Peters, MO; Amethyst Anderson, Arkansas Little Rock Mission; Eijah Bleu Anderson, Snowville, UT and Jerry Anderson, Snowville, UT; grandchildren Colby, Issac and Lydia Andserson; brothers Ross Junior (Bonna) Anderson, Stone, ID and Andrew Anderson, Malad, ID and sister-in-law Rena Anderson.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joe, Douglas, Carl and Dewey Wray Anderson and one granddaughter Baby Lucy Anderson.
Funeral services for Lynn will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Snowville LDS Chapel (75 N. 100 E.). There will be a viewing held on Friday evening March 13, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.). There will be a viewing held prior to the funeral from 10:30- 11:45 a.m. at the church.
