Elwood- 86- Mack Ray Hansen passed away on June 6, 2013. He was born to Gudrun Elizabeth & Marinus Woodruff Hansen on December 12, 1926 in Mink Creek, Idaho. He was then married to Colleen Miller on May 30, 1945 in Elwood, Utah.
Over the years Mack has spent most of his time living in Idaho, Texas, Montana and Elwood. He attended Elwood Elementary and graduated from Bear River High School.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served diligently as a Scout Leader, Bishop and M.I.A. President. Mack was also active in his civic activities.
He was an avid Farmer and won an award for the Highest Yielding Corn per Acre in the State of Utah. He owns Mack's Family Drive-In, to provide jobs for his own children and many of the youth in the Valley. The High School kids could always be found at the drive-in after a football game. He always said he got the drive-in so he could farm. Mack loved to tell stories, play the Harmonica and Organ, read, travel and spend time with his family.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Neal, Carlos, Trudy, Don, Helen & Cliff and Son-in-law Laron Wardle.
He is survived by his Wife; Children Durand "Randy" Mack (Mary) Hansen, Suzann Barbara Wardle, Robyn (Dean) Shakespear, Jody (Larry) Litchford, Kevin Hansen, Heidi (Greg) Cuskelly and Clayton (Alyson) Hansen; twenty Grandchildren; forty three Great Grandchildren and eight Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elwood LDS Church (4865 W. 9600 N.) Viewings will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2012 from 6-8p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, UT) and from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral. Interment in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
