Our family is sad to announce the passing of Mareen Andersen McCardle, November 1, 2023. Mareen was born in Tremonton, Utah to Earl and Audren Andersen on June 21, 1934. Mareen worked at City Drug where she met her husband, Cleveland Richard McCardle, and they were married May 4, 1956. Together they had 6 children. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on November 19, 2002. She also worked at Layton Drug and retired from Valley Home Medical. Mareen enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Mareen is survived by 5 siblings Jack, Renee, Lynn, Blaine and Wayne. Her children Tamara Brown (Kent), Yvonne Leavitt, and Tad Allen McCardle, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Audren Andersen, husband Cleveland Richard McCardle, Johnny McCardle (son) Belinda Schofield (daughter), Calvin Don McCardle (son) and 1 great grandson Ryker Mattinson.
Services will be held Saturday November 4, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with a viewing held prior from 9:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Elwood Church 4865 W. 9600 N. Elwood Utah 84337. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. The family would like to thank CNS and Terrance Grove Assisted Living for all their loving care.
