Marie Housley

Marie Helen Neher Housley passed away May 11, 2012. She was born Feb. 1, 1925 to Ludwig and Pauline Zeller Neher in Leith, North Dakota. She married Ray Housley on March 31, 1945 in Bismarck North Dakota. They later moved to Garland, UT. They had 3 daughters; Sheila Skinner, Shira (Harry) McMurdie, and Marilyn (Lynn) Hulse. Marie worked for M.H. Kings, Brigham Apparel, and Mode O Day. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She has 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren with one on the way and 3 great great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Kent Skinner; grandson, Zackary McMurdie; 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her children; brother, Lawrence Neher; sister, Erna Butler; and many nieces and nephews. The Family would like to express a special thank you to Primrose Hospice especially, Christina, Tara, Ben, Marissa, and many others for the loving care of our mother and grandmother; as well as a thank you to Jordan, Brandon, Bill, Kyli and Cody for the countless hours of care. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel (111 N. 100 E. Tremonton). A Viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:30 at the mortuary.
