Marilyn Marble

TREMONTON- Marilyn C. Marble, 74, passed away quietly at the Bear River Valley Care Center on Sep. 27, 2014. She was born in Tremonton on 30 January 1940, the third child to Earlo Christensen and Ruby May Cornwall Christensen.

Marilyn was raised in Thatcher, and graduated from Bear River High School. On 6 August 1959, she married H. Richard Marble. They were later divorced.

She was a member of the L.D.S. Church, and had several in various calling in the church.

She enjoyed reading, watching T.V., working word puzzles, and collecting porcelain dolls. Her greatest pleasure was being with her children and grandchildren at their family parties.

Surviving, a daughter, Robyn (Mack) Esplin, Bothwell; sons, Alan R. Marble, Deweyville, Shawn J. (Trish) Marble, Tremonton; a sister-in-law, Bonnie J. Christensen, Thatcher. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Richele; her parents; a brother, Evan C. Christensen, and a sister, Koa Lou C. Nelson.

She is also survived by eleven wonderful grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Sep. 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deweyville L.D.S. ward chapel. A viewing will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral.

She will be laid to rest beside her beloved daughter Richele at the Deweyville Cemetery.

We would like to thank the people at the Bear River Valley Care Center for the compassionate care that was given to her. To the friends and good neighbors who have been so kind to our Mom through the years, please know how much your kindness has meant to our family.
