Mark Coppenger

Mark died tragically, May 6th, 2018 while doing what he loved; riding his Harley with his friends. Mark had always enjoyed road trips and when he was younger, he loved to ride his dirt bike.

Mark was born July 30th 1963 in Santa Paula, California to Howard W. and Lorraine E. Coppenger. Mark graduated from Bear River High School in 1981. Mark was an employee at Nucor Steel, beginning in August, 1983 until his death.

He married Robin Campbell, they later divorced. They have one daughter, McKenna.

Mark will be missed by his family and friends. Mark is survived by his daughter, McKenna Coppenger of Logan, Utah;  his parents, Howard and Lorraine Coppenger of Tremonton, Utah; sister, Heidi (Scot) Evans of Henderson, Nevada; nephew, Zach Evans of Texas; niece, Whitney Evans and fiancée, Nate Vaccari of Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles, friends, and co-workers.

Mark was an extraordinary son, friend and father. He lived for his family and his Harley. Mark consistently put others before himself and selflessly sacrificed whatever he could for the better of his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wad & Winnie Coppenger and Keith & Dorothy Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 12, 2018. Viewings will be held on Friday evening, May 11, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. All services will be held at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, UT 84337). Interment in the Garland Cemetery. To pay tribute to Mark, any of his motorcycle friends are invited to participate in the funeral precession to the cemetery.
