Marlene Kay DeJarnatt, 74, passed away on July 19, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 3, 1941 in California to Fred & Bonnie McClintick. She married the love of her life Kenneth S DeJarnatt on September 7, 1965 in Reno, Nevada. Ken passed away on February 15, 2008.
During her life she lived in Bellflower, California, Oregon and made her home in Tremonton, Utah. She worked as a seamstress at Brigham Apparel, Tremonton Sportswear and La-Z-Boy. She retired from La-Z-Boy in 1995.
Marlene loved to shop QVC, do crossword puzzles, play slot machines, and have family get-togethers on most holidays and especially on Christmas. She loved to read stories, visit and spend time with her Grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Shelley, Mitchell, Tyler and Darin; 10 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Ken; parents Fred and Bonnie McClintick; brother, Gary McClintick and daughter Amanda DeJarnatt.
Friends and family may greet Marlene’s family at a celebration of life that will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton-UT).
