Mary Munns

Mary Hirschi Munns was born May 1, 1929, to Emile and Hilma Marie Rose Hirschi. She passed away on December 9, 2014. Mary was 85 years old. Mary had four sisters, Carma (Dale) Hortin, Rae (LaMoine) Hurd, Rose (Gordon) Roylance, Evelyn Nelson, and three brothers, Carl (Dixie) Hirschi, Grant (Clarice) Hirschi, and Darrell (Betty) Hirschi. Mary was married in the Logan LDS temple to Lowell Shelley Munns. They were later divorced. Mary was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mary is the mother of 12 children, Mike (Cheryl) Munns, Kathy Francom, Linda (Steve) Burns, Gloria (Barry) Holmstead, Christine (Bob) Laumann, Weston (Jorja) Munns, Dot (George) Ross, Jean (Hal) Gordon, Amy Joy Munns, Jim (Amanda) Munns, Sharla (Jeremy) Greene, and Sheldon (Alyssa) Munns.
She is the grandmother to 25 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Rae, Rose; brothers Carl, Grant; daughter Amy Joy; daughter-in-law Dawn; and grandson, Josh.
A viewing will be held on Sunday evening, Dec. 14 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday morning Dec. 15, 9-10:30 a.m. with the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the Elwood 2nd Ward Building (4865 W 9600 N Elwood, UT).
