Merial "MIM" Johnson THATCHER, UT - Merial "Mim" Williams Andreasen Johnson, 83, Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, returned to her Heavenly home on March 13, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was the 7th of 13 children born to Earl Tony Williams and Edna Adamson on the 7th of January 1929 in Bountiful, Utah. Mim married Conn "Andy" Andreasen on April 30, 1947 later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Andy passed away Nov 25, 1954. Mim married Leland Johnson on November 7, 1955 and moved to Thatcher, Utah. Leland passed away on Sept 20, 1966. She worked at Thiokol for 25 years. She was active in the LDS church and served faithfully in many callings. After retiring from Thiokol she served as a missionary in the Pennsylvania, Pittsburg Mission. She also served as a temple worker in the Logan, Temple. She was a member of the Eagles Peak Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was very devoted to family history work. Mim is survived by her children: LeRoy (Carolyn) Johnson, Thatcher; Irene (John) Burton, Reno, Nevada; John (Jo) Johnson, Thatcher, UT; Cathy (Roger) Thompson, Elwood; Shauna Fonnesbeck, Howell; Jeryl "Andie" Kalinowski, San Diego, CA; Marlene (Jack) Peck, Sandy, UT; Jan (Arthur) Douglas, Howell; and Alan (Julie) Johnson, Howell. Sisters Kay Higbee, Salt Lake, UT; Sheri Weimar, Phoenix, AZ; and one brother, Pete Williams, Warm Springs, SD. 40 Grandchildren and 85 great grandchildren. Mim was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, one son, Mont Andreasen, three son-in-laws, Michael Kalinowski, Robert Davis, and Michael Fonnesbeck, eight brothers: Bud, Keith, Jack, Buss, Joe, Bert, Ronald Paul, and Terry Williams; and a sister, Marlene Pederson. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Schow, and the staff at Bear River Valley Hospital, and CNS Hospice, as well as, Dr. Ali Ben-Jacob and staff at the Cache Valley Cancer Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Thatcher-Penrose 1st Ward Chapel 11475 W 10400 N in Thatcher. Viewings will be held on Sunday March 18, 2012 from 6-8:00 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 N 100 E in Tremonton and preceding the funeral from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Thatcher-Penrose Chapel. Interment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Bothwell, UT.
