NaDean Weidman

Elwood- NaDean Archibald Weidman passed away January 17, 2012 in Ogden, UT. NaDean was born September 24, 1926 in Plymouth, UT to Jesse and Mary Irene Hess Archibald. She attended school in Plymouth and graduated from Bear River High. She married Virgil Clark Weidman on March 3, 1955 and later solemnized their marriage in the Logan LDS Temple. She worked at Hill Air Force Base and owned a beauty shop in Roy, Bear River City and Elwood. She was still doing hair at age 85 for all of her special clients and friends. Family knew her by Aunt DeeDee, and her grand kids call her Grandma DeeDee. She loved to knit. She was a perfectionist and every stitch had to be perfect. Beautiful sweaters, coats, and afghans for her grandchildren have been a favorite of hers. She took pride in her home and yard. She had great joy in planting flowers with her kids and grandchildren. Grandma had a love for traveling and seeing the world. She cherished the laughter and music at family gatherings and listening to her grandchildren play the piano and guitar while she sang along. She had a loving heart and was grandma to everybody. She was a member of the LDS Church, where she taught in the Primary, Mutual and Sunday School. She was the makeup artist for the road shows for many years, and created some unique hairstyles for the kids. She is survived by her children: Cindy (Cris) Celaya, Garland, Utah, Margo (Calvin) Roberts, Bluebell, Utah, Clark (Nancy) Weidman, Elwood, Utah, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and Siblings: Clain (Jess) Carma Archibald and Aileen (Dee) Williams and many special nieces, nephews that she considered her own. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and brother-in-law Dee Williams. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Viewings will be held on Friday January 20, 2012 from 6-8 PM and Saturday January 21, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. All services will be held at the Elwood LDS Chapel, 4865 W 9600 N in Elwood, UT.
