DEWEYVILLE – Nelda LeAnn Hansen Belew, 73, passed away on January 29, 2015 in Tremonton, UT. She was born on December 10, 1941 in Tremonton, UT to Leone Sparks & Ursel Leon Hansen.
LeAnn graduated from Bear River High School. She has lived in Brigham City, Bear River City, Honeyville and most recently Deweyville. She married Garn Hunsaker, they later divorced. On August 27, 1982, LeAnn married the love of her life, Reed M. Belew, they became eternal companions on August 30, 2014 in the Brigham City LDS Temple.
She worked for many years at Thiokol (ATK). She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings throughout her life. LeAnn enjoyed gardening, home making, horses, being outdoors, shopping and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her favorite thing was being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren.
LeAnn is survived by her husband, Reed M. Belew; children, Darrell (Diane) Hunsaker, Honeyville; Randy Hunsaker, Elwood; Sheryl (Wayne) Wadman, Portage; Kerry (Shari) Belew, Logan; Terry Belew, Preston, ID; Robin (Todd) Gubeli, Gunnison; Greg (Brenda) Belew, Preston, ID; 26 Grandchildren; 43 Great-grandchildren; Brothers, Darwin (Linda) Hansen, Leslie (Julie) Hansen; Sister, Mary (Melvin) Ritter; Brothers-in-law, Bob (Darlene) Belew, Philip Belew; and a Sister-in-law, Cheryl Stuzman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ursel Leon Hansen & Leone Sparks Hansen; brother, Lynn Jay Hansen; mother-in-law, Carma Ione Belew; brother-in-law, Gregory Blain Belew; grandson, Wynn Daniel; great-grandson, Shayson James Belew; and a daughter-in-law, Allison Hunsaker.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deweyville LDS Chapel (10750 N. Hwy 38). Viewings will be held Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. –Tremonton) and Monday from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Church. Interment will be in the Deweyville Cemetery.
