Norman Elliott Miller
Fielding- Norman Elliott Miller, 77, passed away on Sunday November 2, 2014 in Ogden, Utah. He was born on March 2, 1937 in Provo, Utah to Lila & Van Miller. He married Karen Jones on November 1, 1958 in Provo. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on April 3, 1964.
He attended and graduated from Provo High School. He lived in Orem, UT, Nampa, ID, Las Vegas, NV and Fielding, UT. He was an Operations Manager at Thiokol until his retirement in 1999.
Norm loved fishing, hunting, riding & working with horses, spending time with his family and friends, wood working, carpentry and farming.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as the Bishop of the Fielding Ward, a member of the Fielding Stake presidency, High Councilman, two LDS missions in New Jersey Morristown Mission and Cove Fort, and as an Ordinance Worker in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen; 8 children: Mike, Jon, Kirk, Gary, Shawn, Jared, Laura and Lisa; 28 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Berdella.
Funeral services for Norm will be held on Monday November 10, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening November 9, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. and prior to the funeral from 10:00- 11:30 a.m. All services will be held at the Fielding Stake Center (4375 W 15600 N Fielding, UT).
