Oren "Bill" Norman Hansen

July 14, 1930 - April 12, 2013

Elwood - Oren Norman "Bill" Hansen, 82, passed away on April 12, 2013 in Brigham City. He was born July 14, 1930 in Elwood, UT to Ephraim Peter and Carrie Janette Hansen.
Bill attended grade school in Elwood and graduated from Bear River High School. He worked seasonally at the Garland sugar beet factory. His life was dedicated to his mother and the family farm. He had a passion for reading anything he could get his hands on and visiting with anyone who would listen. Bills mornings consisted of visiting with friends at the Green Rock Café© over coffee. He enjoyed weekly visits and meals at aunt Fontella's home with many nieces and nephews. Later in life he made several good friends at the care center.

Bill is survived by a sister, Anna Hansen Hunsaker; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Fontella Anderson, Eldon Hansen, Arlene Hughes, and Rulon Hansen.

The family would like to thank the staff and friends, especially Nurse, Jenny Lyn at the Willow Glen care center for the loving care they gave Bill.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. - Tremonton) There will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
