Owen Hess

Owen Edward Hess, 78, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2017 in Tremonton, Utah. He was born on March 24, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Isabella Hughes and Owen Hess.

Owen married Rhea Olsen in Elko, Nevada. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University.

Owen was raised in Fielding, Utah. He worked and retired from Thiokol. His love and passion in life was farming. He farmed in Plymouth, Utah and Thatcher, Utah.

He also enjoyed hunting, and participating in handgun shooting competitions.

Owen is survived by his daughter Robyn, son Tracy, and grandchildren Nate, Casey, McKoy, and McKenzie.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rhea Hess.

A graveside service will be held at Noon on Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Fielding, Utah Cemetery.
