Phyllis Udy

Riverside- Phyllis Rader Udy passed away at her home surrounded by her family November 18, 2015. She was born on August 5, 1923 in Corinne, Utah to Edward & Rose Rader.  She was raised in Corinne and attended and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1941.

She married Delose Udy on May 8, 1942 in Logan LDS Temple. They made their lives in Riverside, Utah. Delose passed away on July 12, 2005.

Throughout her life she was a full-time homemaker and loved raising her children. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and word search puzzles.

Phyllis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints., where she served in various different callings.

She is survived by her children: Barbara (Don) Vanderhoof, Jim (Maralene), Gaylen (Danna), Val (Mary), Beverly (Ron) Roybal, Tamara (Tom) Maier; 20 grandkids and many great grandkids.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, parents, all of her siblings and one granddaughter Stacy Williams.

Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belmont 2nd Ward LDS Chapel (16925 N 5200 W., Riverside, UT).  There will be a viewing held on Sunday evening November 22, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, UT). and prior to the service at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. She will be buried in the Riverside Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Val & Mary for 10 years of dedicated service to Mom.
