On July 19, 2011 Ralph Jones passed away in Centerfield, Utah. He was born in Hagan, Lee, VA on August 23, 1920. He was born to William Harrison and Arminty Castella Smith Jones. He married Shirlene Saunders Jones on July 31, 1943. He lived in many places including Virginia, Oklahoma, California, and Utah. He attended college in Yuba City, California. He received his Electrical certification and worked many jobs. He was an auto repair mechanic and an adjuster for State Farm Insurance. He proudly served his country in WWII. He was a veteran of the 8th Army Air Core, Electrical Repair Division where he served in England for three years. His hobbies included auto mechanics and repair, pheasant hunting, and golfing. He was a member of the LDS church where he was valiant home teacher, stake missionary and ward and stake clerk. He is survived by his wife, son: David E. Jones and family, Tremonton, UT, daughter: Judy A. Leonhardt and family, Garland, UT, son: Allan R. Jones and family, Manti, UT and son Terry W. Jones and family, Pacific Grove, CA. Preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, ten brothers and grandson, Brian D. Jones A graveside service will be held Saturday July 23, at 10:00 AM at the Deweyville Cemetery.
