Ralph Udy

Ralph B Udy, 82, passed away on April 20, 2012 at his daughter's home in Fielding, Utah. Ralph was born on May 2, 1929 in Fielding, Utah to Mark J Udy, Sr. and Ina Elizabeth Batchelor Udy. He married his sweetheart Barbara "Bobbie" Godfrey on January 19, 1949, in the Logan LDS Temple. Bobbie passed away on December 11, 2002. He later married Ann Wood Norman on December 30, 2003. Ralph was raised in Fielding, Utah on his family farm. He had a natural talent for farming and agriculture; he was very meticulous and always had beautiful crops. He was a farmer most of his life and also owned and operated Udy Lawn Green. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various callings through-out his life. Ralph and Ann served a part time service mission at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. He has lived in Fielding, Tremonton and Corinne and has made many friends along the way. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ralph is survived by his wife Ann of Corinne, Utah, his daughter MerLynn (Rick) Kent, Fielding, Utah, a son-in-law David Falk, Allen Texas, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A sister Colleen Udy Laws, Tremonton, Utah, a Brother Lex L. (JoAnn) Udy, Salt Lake City, Utah. Ann's Children and their spouses, 34 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren who he also loved very much. Ralph is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie, his parents, his daughter Ilene Udy Falk and 3 brothers Mark J Jr, Doyle C. and Thayne C. Udy. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 12:00 Noon, at the Corinne LDS Chapel, 2335 N 4000 W in Corinne. Viewings will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home 111 N 100 E in Tremonton, UT, and prior to the funeral from 10:30-11:30 am. Interment will be held at the Riverview (Tremonton) Cemetery.
