Richard (Dick) A. Bardwell, 81, passed away on April 5, 2014 at Bear River Care Center in Tremonton, Utah from cancer.
Dick was raised in Hurricane Utah where he graduated from Hurricane High School. He then served in the Korean War for two yrs. Followed by his education where he attended USU and received his Associates in Engineering from the Agriculture College of Utah.
Dick worked for Harry Canfield as a truck driver, where he was leased to Pillsbury Co. His passion for travel and exploring the countryside made work more enjoyable. He then married Sharon M. John in Sept. of 1957 and later divorced. His greatest achievement was his children.
He is survived by his children; Bart (Terry), Micheal (Sheron), and Milo Bardwell, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and one brother Howard (Flora) Bardwell. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Howard W. and June A. Bardwell, and Stepfather, Milo Stanworth.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11th, at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home in Tremonton, Utah, (111 N. 100 E.) at 11 am. Viewings will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday the 10th, and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services. Interment will be at the Garland Cemetery.
