Robert Mark Roylance, 81, passed away on November 26, 2022 in Brigham City, Utah. He was born on August 9, 1941 in Ogden, Utah to Mark Merrill Roylance and Myrle Williams Roylance.
Robert married Marilyn Ellsworth Roylance on October 26, 1962 in Logan, Utah.
Robert lived in North Ogden, Utah and Collinston, Utah. He graduated from Weber High School and Weber State College with an associates degree in Forestry.
Roylance worked at Roylance Dairy as a dairy farmer for 55 years, a custodian for Weber School District, a bus driver and custodian for Box Elder School District, at Alco as a custodian, and Tremonton Heating.
Dad was involved in the Boy Scouts most of his life. He attended many scout camps as a youth and an adult leader. He earned the Silver Beaver Award. Dad was the hardest worker we know and didn’t have much time for hobbies, but he did enjoy taking care of his yard from sun up to sun down, unless it was too cold.
Dad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to Cardston Alberta Canada and also went to Phoenix, Arizona and San Luis Obispo, California. He also served as a senior missionary at the Bishop’s storehouse. He was a Bishop, High Councilman, and a temple worker. He served as the treasurer for the Farm Bureau Association.
Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn; daughter, Robin Broadus (Rick); daughter, Trudy Fuhriman (Doug); daughter, Traci Petty (Eric); son, Dean Roylance (Kelly); son, James Roylance (Alison); daughter, Kimberly Banks (Travis); daughter, Becky Bostick (Itchy); brothers, Bill Roylance and Scott Roylance; 28 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Myrle Roylance; sister, Arlene Clawson; nephew, Randy Clawson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Beaver Dam Church (16025 N Beaver Dam Rd- Collinston). A viewing will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E- Tremonton). A private family gathering will be held prior to the service at the church, on Saturday, from 10-10:30 A.M. Interment in the Beaver Dam Cemetery.
