Mary Rochelle Williams Evans, 77, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully October 15, 2013 at her home in Roy, Utah. Rochelle was born
November 28, 1935 in Samaria, Idaho to John Morse and Mary Evans Williams. Mom always said she was really born on November 26th but it took the doctor two days to come to the house and he put the
wrong date on her birth certificate. She was raised and attended high school in Malad, Idaho. She married Robert W. Evans August 3, 1972 in Pinedale, Wyoming. During her life she lived in Plymouth, Utah, Victor, Idaho, Pinedale, Wyoming, Rock Springs, Wyoming, Evanston, Wyoming, Ogden, Utah and finally, Roy, Utah.
Rochelle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved spending time with her family. She was a gentle, loving mother and grandmother with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; her children: Penny (Paul) Marshall, Plymouth, Bradley
(Paula) Hess, Illinois; Steven Hess, Nampa, Idaho; Susan Aagard, Roosevelt; Michael (Teresa) Evans, Roy; Daniel Evans, Hooper; Stepchildren: Debbie Evans, Teresa (Steve) Smith, Patty (Daniel) Mitchelson, of Wyoming and Dori Kay Benbo, Colorado. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Myra Jean John, Jack Williams, Dwight Williams, Mavis Culver, Brent Williams, Sondra Robbins, and Rick Williams.
Rochelle was preceded in death by two sons, Loyd Kim Hess and Jerry Winegar, a stepson,
Robert W. Evans, Jr., and one step-grandchild, David Bubach. She was also preceded in death by her
sister, Carolyn Ward.
Viewings will be held Monday, October 21 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday, October 22 from 1130-
1230 at the Roy 9th Ward, LDS Meetinghouse, 4250 South 2175 West, Roy, UT 84067. The funeral will be held at the same location, beginning at 1:00 pm October 22.
