Ronald Johnson

May 16, 1940 — November 8, 2012

RONALD NATHANIEL JOHNSON “FUZZ” MAY 16. 1940 – NOVEMBER 8, 2012 In the early morning hours, as the sun was rising, Ron was called home to join his parents, sister and his daughters. Ron was born in Brigham City, Utah, on May 16, 1940, to E. Carlyle and Alta Mae Marble Johnson. Ron, along with his parents and brother, Robert (Bob) lived in Fielding, Utah, until they moved to Tremonton, Utah. He attended Elementary School, Jr. High, and graduated from Bear River High School in 1958. He also attended Idaho State College. Ron married Arta Ann Hansen, they were later divorced. Together, they had two daughters, Suzanna Jo, and Cynthia Lee. Both preceded him in death. Ron married, the love of his life, Elizabeth Brazier (Trell), on February 9, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together, they enjoyed many wonderful road trips and adventures. Ron and Liz (Trell) relocated to Riverdale, Utah, to be closer to their families. They have been blessed to find wonderful new friends. They spent many hours watching incredible sunsets, the birds, the deer, and, of course the cows. At the age of 16, Ron began his printing career at the Tremonton Leader. He worked for numerous newspapers throughout the country, until his retirement. Ron’s health had declined over the last several years. He was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, which ultimately led to his death. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his daughters, and his sister. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Liz (Trell), his brother Bob (Ruth), his extended family and friends. Liz, would like to thank all the wonderful physicians (You know who you are) who have cared for Ron, as well as, the many caregivers at Liberty Dialysis, and Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center. Your kindness will never be forgotten! Rest in peace My Love! Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Deweyville Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton).
