Ross Peterson

Ross F. Peterson, 78, passed away in the company of his loved ones on March 3, 2013. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Zurich, Montana to John and Alta Peterson. He married his life-long love Phyllis Frieling at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Benton, Montana on May 13, 1957. Ross was a big, loving, teddy bear of a man who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was passionate about music of all kinds, especially singing with his siblings at family gatherings. He also loved fishing and camping in the mountains and doing crossword puzzles with his late wife Phyllis. His loving smile and humor will be missed by all that knew him. Ross is survived by his daughter Laurie (Scott) Hensley, son Randall (Susan) Peterson, daughter Gina (Jerry) Berlin and his ten beloved grandchildren; Brothers Jay (Maryann, deceased) Peterson, Ralph Peterson, Lyle (Corma) Peterson, Neal (Claudia) Peterson and Keith Peterson and sister Genell (Bob) Hardy. Ross was preceded in death by his parents John and Alta, wife Phyllis, son Scott Peterson and sister Evelyn Peterson. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Utah. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 am prior to the service. Interment services will be held at a later date.
