Ruth McNeely
October 26, 1941 — October 23, 2017
Ruth Anderson McNeely born October 26, 1941 passed away peacefully on October 23, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her eternal companion, Lee Blaine who passed away in 2011. Ruth and Lee Blaine were married fifty-seven years and was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. They made their home in Penrose, UT, where they truly loved the people in their community. Ruth was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings through the years. Ruth delivered the Standard-Examiner for over twenty years and loved gardening and caring for her animals.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father & mother, Ray Anderson & Ruth Mason and siblings, Gwen, Karen, Glen, and Rodney.
Ruth is survived by Rodney and Michelle of Preston, ID, Angila (Wildman) of Pleasant View, UT, Jeffery of Logan, UT and Jason and Amy of Logan, UT, fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. As well as her siblings, Diane Carter, Sheila Jessop, Camille Reay, RonDell Anderson, Royal Anderson, ElRay Anderson, and Clair Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Thatcher-Penrose Ward building at 11475 W 10400 N Tremonton, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial will be at the Penrose Cemetery.
