Ruth Hansen Williams passed away Dec. 6, 2012. She was born Nov. 13, 1932 in Weston, ID to James Reynolds Hansen and Julia Louisa Bingelli, the fourth of eight children. She married Evan DeVerl Williams July 18, 1949; their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They had six children, Lana Whitaker, Garland; Gene & KC Williams, Tremonton; Jerrald & Julie Williams, Garland; Blake & Laurell Williams, Tremonton; James & Tammy Williams, Quartzite, AZ; and Bret & Teresa Williams, Bothwell. Mom and dad owned and operated the Western Trails Café and Bus Depot for many years, serving the community and providing a place for all to gather. Ruth was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had many callings, including Primary, Relief Society, and A Seniors Group Coordinator. Ruth loved crocheting and embroidery and received multiple blue ribbons at the county fair; she was also a traveling judge for other exhibits and fairs. Ruth was an active member of a local pinochle group. She loved her family and was a great mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons Jerrald and Blake, three grandsons, a sister Dorothy and brothers Glen and David. She is survived by 27 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and her first great-great grandchild is on the way. She is also survived by a brother, Glade and sisters, LaDean, Lois and Faye. Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland LDS Tabernacle (140 W. Factory St.- Garland) Viewings will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E- Tremonton) and at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Clarkston Cemetery.
