Sally P. Bowen passed away on May 16, 2013, in Billings, Montana.
She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on May 7, 1937. Sally is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Kay L. Bowen in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 5, 1958. They lived the majority of their married life in the Ogden, Utah, area. Sally loved the years spent racing horses with her family. She enjoyed genealogy, quilting and scrap booking. She loved being involved in her grandchildren’s lives and never missed one of their activities if she could help it.
She is survived by her husband, Kay; daughter Shari (Daniel) Johnson; son, Scott (Tami) Bowen; grandchildren Tucker, Kaycee, Kelsey Johnson and Codie and Brock Bowen; three brothers and their spouses; one brother-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Wilma Packer, and her brother Richard Packer.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Beaver Dam Cemetery.
A Viewing will be held prior to the service at Rudd Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
