Scott Robert McLachlan Scott passed away Oct. 18, 2010. He was born Jan. 31, 1966, in Orange, Calif., to Robert and Marie McLachlan. He was raised in Anahiem, Calif. until the family moved to Tremonton in 1983. Scott graduated from Bear River High in 1984. He attended Bridgerland were he received a certificate in construction. He then attended Dixie College. Scott played baseball as a youth, little league, Bear River High School team and with Jr. Lish baseball. He married Ramona Hubbard in 1988. They made their home in Thatcher. His children, Wyatt and Sierra, were the light of his life. Scott loved spending time with family and friends, baseball, the Lakers, and the Raiders. He coached Tremonton City League boys’ baseball. He loved teaching the fundamentals, and ‘a love for the game’ to the boys. Scott is survived by his wife Mona, children Wyatt and Sierra, parents Robert and Marie, brother Richard, sister Allison (Steve) Kirk, and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Helen McLachlan, Edwin and Amelia Andrews, and his Uncle Ben McLachlan. Scott was an organ donor, so when his life ended, a part of him could help another to live. Funeral services will be held Nov. 6, at the Thatcher church, 11475 W. 10400 N., at 4 p.m. A viewing will begin at 3 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles, Nov. 7, from 2-6 p.m. Scott – until we meet again, you will be loved and missed everyday of our lives. We love you! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Primary Children’s Medical Center or Make-A-Wish.
