Scott S. Muir (67) of Tremonton, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2025, while visiting his family in Colorado. Scott was born on February 19, 1957, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Stanley Roberts Muir and Joan Stringham.
Scott spent his childhood in Bountiful, Utah, and graduated from Bountiful High School. He then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Louisville, Kentucky.
Scott met his wife, Peggy Sue Puckett, at Utah State University. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.
Scott held various positions throughout his sales and marketing career. His favorite role was in California, where he worked for Intel, marketing flash memory components to the global automotive industry.
Scott was an avid Utah State Aggie until his last breath. He attended as many games as possible and made many friends at the coaches' luncheons. Scott loved history and shared many stories of his pioneer ancestry and heritage. He enjoyed gardening and was gearing up for this planting season.
Scott is survived by his wife and four children: daughter Stephanie (Scott) Davis; three sons KC (Ashley) Muir, Kyle (Megan) Muir, and Kelly (Ashley) Muir; his sisters Paula Brammer and Kim Brimley; his mother-in-law Joanne Porter; and his greatest joys, his ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marilyn Jager, and father-in-law, Rodney Emil Puckett.
Services will be on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Noon, with a viewing held prior from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. All services will be held at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT. Interment will follow in the Logan City Cemetery. The service will be live-streamed and can be accessed below.
