Shawn Stokes

GARLAND – Shawn Ferron Stokes, our loving son, brother and friend, passed away on February 24, 2016 in Ogden, Utah. He was born in Tremonton, Utah on August 24, 1989 to Ferron & Marilyn Stokes.

In his short time here, Shawn pushed boundaries, he lived life his way. He enjoyed art and music, but his favorite thing to do was cook. He loved to show off his culinary talents cooking dinners for family get togethers. He always had a joke, he was always trying to bring a smile to your face, and make someone laugh.

He is greatly loved and missed. He is forever in our hearts.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Ferron & Marilyn Stokes; brothers & sisters, Jeff, Clay, LaRon, Blair, Callie, Trina and Kammie; nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert & Margaret Allen of Garland and Bill & Edith Stokes of Snowville.

Funeral Services for Shawn will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Garland 5th Ward Building (175 S. Main – Garland) with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am. There will also be a viewing on Monday evening Feb. 29 from 6-8 pm. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. – Tremonton). Burial will follow the services in the Garland Cemetery.
